DAP is one of Minnesota’s only providers of abuse therapy for all members of the family: victim survivors, child witnesses, and those with a history of violence.

Healing happens here.

At Domestic Abuse Project (DAP), we’re working hard to end the cycle of violence and build safer communities for all. Last year alone, we delivered over 13,500 mental health and supportive services to children and adults impacted by violence, from life-changing trauma therapy, to preventive programming, to assistance with safety plans, basic needs, and more.

Without early intervention like ours, a child exposed to abuse is 10 times more likely to abuse a partner in adulthood, or 6 times more likely to be abused, as a child who grows up in safety. And the cycle doesn’t merely repeat, it can expand - putting whole communities at risk.

A space where children can play and feel safe.

Healing happens right here, at the DAP Care Center, where the evidence-based programming we've developed over 47 years has the power to save and transform lives.

But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s Armani’s story…

With our wrap-around model of care, DAP is uniquely equipped to heal families and build communities free from violence, but we do need support - now more than ever. If you can contribute, please donate now.
