DAP Holiday Meal Drive with Love Conquers Violence and Smoak BBQ
Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, Love Conquers Violence and Smoak BBQ MN, DAP is able to provide our participants with home-cooked, full-course holiday meals. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to show up for our community in this way and share holiday joy in times of adversity.

DAP Night at the Saints
Coming up this fall, DAP is partnering with the St. Paul Saints! Join us this September for a night of fun, fireworks, and public education about how domestic violence shows up in our community. We will be in charge of the first pitch and will have a DAP booth to provide information and answer all your questions. There will also be an interview with our Executive Director! But wait, there’s more: this is also Teacher Appreciation Night, so come to support your public-school teachers and DAP all while making lifelong memories.

DAP at Twin Cities Pride 2024
DAP will be at Twin Cities Pride this year! DAP works to ensure that our services are accessible to all members of the family who have experienced domestic violence—did you know that the queer community is disproportionately affected by domestic violence? Stop by the DAP table (booth 442) to get resources for your own relationship or to learn more about ways you can support members of the LGBTQIA+ community in unsafe relationships. We will also have candy and swag! We look forward to seeing you there!
Art-A-Whirl 2024 at DAP
Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country, which happens annually throughout NE Minneapolis the third weekend of May. Each year, we display art from Minnesota locals that speaks to resiliency, healing and/or domestic violence, as well as provide domestic violence resources + information for the public. DAP is located in the Waterbury Building in NE Minneapolis and is open to the public! We will post our hours of operation at the beginning of May! We can’t wait to see you there!
More about Art-A-Whirl from the Northeast Minneapolis Artists Association (NEMAA): Over 1,200 NEMAA member artists, galleries, and businesses participate across all of Northeast Minneapolis at over 80 locations. Art-A-Whirl is a fantastic way to connect with artists in their own spaces, enjoy demonstrations and interactive activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local restaurants and breweries. Art-A-Whirl is free and open to the public.
