DAP will be at Twin Cities Pride this year! DAP works to ensure that our services are accessible to all members of the family who have experienced domestic violence—did you know that the queer community is disproportionately affected by domestic violence? Stop by the DAP table (booth 442) to get resources for your own relationship or to learn more about ways you can support members of the LGBTQIA+ community in unsafe relationships. We will also have candy and swag! We look forward to seeing you there!

Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country, which happens annually throughout NE Minneapolis the third weekend of May. Each year, we display art from Minnesota locals that speaks to resiliency, healing and/or domestic violence, as well as provide domestic violence resources + information for the public. DAP is located in the Waterbury Building in NE Minneapolis and is open to the public! We will post our hours of operation at the beginning of May! We can’t wait to see you there!

More about Art-A-Whirl from the Northeast Minneapolis Artists Association (NEMAA): Over 1,200 NEMAA member artists, galleries, and businesses participate across all of Northeast Minneapolis at over 80 locations. Art-A-Whirl is a fantastic way to connect with artists in their own spaces, enjoy demonstrations and interactive activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local restaurants and breweries.
